Pat Gregoire picks his CUFLA 3 Stars for Week 1 of the 2016 season.

There were plenty of standouts in the first weekend of CUFLA lacrosse this fall. Pat Gregoire, Inside Lacrosse's CUFLA correspondent, picks the best of the best for his 3 Stars.

MItch de Snoo led the league in goals in 2015 and he's picked up right where he left off, earning first star honours.

"First Star: Mitch de Snoo, University of Toronto

Senior Mitch de Snoo had a huge weekend for the UofT Varsity Blues, netting 10 goals and four assists for 14 points in two games. On Saturday, DeSnoo tallied seven points and was a force in a close 13-10 loss to Guelph. The next day, Western handled UofT with ease, defeating the Blues 20-11. The Oshawa, Ont., native was one of the bright spots in the loss, chipping in for seven points on just 10 Toronto goals. The Buffalo Bandits product's 14 points is good enough for an early lead in the CUFLA scoring race."
