Guelph, Western continue to battle for first with two wins each in CUFLA Week 5

The Western Mustangs didn't leave much doubt that the divide between the top and bottom teams in CUFLA West is substantial in Week 5.
Western hammered Laurier 23-2 Friday then followed that up with an 18-9 pounding of Toronto Saturday. The pair of wins keep them tied with Guelph at 7-1 as the Gryphons beat McMaster and Laurentian. 
Both teams pulled a half game ahead of Brock, who was idle in Week 5 and still has a record of 6-1. 
CUFLA East leader Trent also had the week off and remain at 9-0 on the season. McGill pulled a little closer to the Excalibur with a 14-9 win over Bishop's.
