No changes to the CUFLA Power Rankings on Inside Lacrosse after Week 5 but two of the 3 Stars come from teams not generally seeing a lot of the spotlight.

Thanksgiving weekend was a relatively quiet in CUFLA. Both the East and West leaders heading into the weekend were idle. Trent's lead was big enough that it didn't matter, but Brock was leapfrogged for now by both Western and Guelph.

The Excalibur and Badgers didn't get penalized for not playing as Pat Gregoire's CUFLA Power Rankings on Inside Lacrosse remained unchanged.

A pair of players from less-heralded programs took 3 Stars honours for Week 5. Following Western's Cody Ward, standout performances from Carleton's Aaron Woods and Nipissing's Nick Chaykowsky were honoured.

"Second Star: Aaron Woods, Carleton University

Senior attackman Aaron Woods is in the midst of his best offensive season in his fourth year of CUFLA lacrosse with 38 points in 10 games. The righty from Courtice, Ont., had a hat-trick and an assist in a 11-8 loss to Queen’s on Thursday night. On Saturday, he followed up the four-point performance with four tallies and two assists for six points in the Ravens’ 14-11 loss to Nipissing on Saturday."
