10 CUFLA Players and 2 Coaches Selected in National Lacrosse League Draft

10 players and 2 coaches from CUFLA schools were selected in Monday's NLL entry draft.

CUFLA players and coaches were well represented in the National Lacrosse League entry draft held Monday night at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre.

Ten current CUFLA players were selected, starting with Trent midfielder Adam Perroni, who went in the second round, 14th overall, to the Rochester Knighthawks. In all, three Trent players were drafted along with two from Western and one each from Nipissing, Guelph, Wilfrid Laurier, Queen's and Brock.

A pair of NCAA graduates serving as assistant coaches in CUFLA were selected in the first round.

Zach Currier is helping the new coaching staff at Queen's. He was taken third overall by the Calgary Roughnecks. Ottawa offensive coordinator JP Kealey was taken 10th by the New England Black Wolves.

Chris Boushy - Queen's, 31st to Saskatchewan Rush
Mackenzie Mitchell - Brock, 34th to Buffalo Bandits
Nik Farrus - Western, 42nd to Georgia Swarm
Rowan Kelly - Western, 55th to Colorado Mammoth
