Week 5 Wrapup:

Trent won a huge CUFLA East game at Bishop's on Saturday, downing the Gaiters 15-11 to sweep the home and home season series between the teams.

With Queen's having an automatic berth in the Baggataway Cup as the host team, there are only two earned berths available. With Trent having lost both its games to McGill already this season, the Excalibur desperately needed to beat Bisop's to give itself the best chance at playing host to the second-round playoff game which, if the first round goes according to seeding, would probably between them and the Gaiters. 

Trent pulled away to the win by scoring the first three goals of the fourth quarter after the teams had been tied 10-10 through 60 minutes. 

Complicating things for the Excalibur is that Bishop's beat McGill earlier in the season. If the Gaiters can somehow harness the same magic and beat the Redmen again, it may be time to pull out the old abacus. That would, if all three teams continue to beat everyone else in the division as they have done so far, create a three-way tie at the top where each team is 2-0 against one of the other tied teams and 0-2 against the other.
