Inside Lacrosse CUFLA 3 Stars, Week 3: Rakoczy, Boushy & Davis

Western faceoff ace Jackson Rakoczy was CUFLA's MVP in 2018 and now he is Pat Gregoire's Inside Lacrosse CUFLA 1st Star of Week 3 after leading the Mustangs to a crucial win over the Brock Badgers.

Jackson Rakoczy - Western University
The reigning Most Valuable Player was in MVP form on Saturday as he was not only dominant at the face-off X for the Mustangs, but he also scored a goal off the draw late in the third quarter to tie the game at 7. The Mustangs coaching staff gave Rakoczy the day off the next day when they traveled to Toronto to take on the Varsity Blues. Whether he's at Queen's or now Western for his second season, the Burlington, Ont., product has been one of the league's best face-off specialists, but he's now becoming an offensive threat off the draw with already two goals this season.
