Trent Excalibur midfielder Nick Chaykowsky earning his fifth straight nomination highlights the 2019 CUFLA All Canadian teams announced today while another pair of players were named to the team for the fourth straight year.
Chaykowsky earned the first three of his All Canadian honours during his original undergrad degree at Nipissing. The last two seasons he has been in teachers college at Trent.
Western attack Cody Ward and Brock's Adam Kirchmayer were named All Canadians for the fourth straight year. Kirchmayer was the West Division All Canadian LSM in '16 and '17 and now is a member of the team as a defender for the second straight season.
Ward this fall won his third scoring title in four years and will be hoping to help the Mustangs win their fourth straight Baggataway Cup championship this weekend in Montreal.
Scott Dominey of Nipissing and Tanner Baldin of McGill each earned their third straight All Canadian honour. Both players have changed positions this season: Dominey played attack for his first two nominations but was named as a midfielder this year. Baldin was recognized as a defender for two years but switched to LSM this season.
