CUFLA announces the 2019/20 Academic All Canadians.

CUFLA is pleased to be able to share some good news, announcing its 2019/20 Academic All-Canadians.

The awards are intended to honour the top academic performers from each of the schools in the league. Each team can nominate its two student-athletes who achieved the highest academic standing.

Four student-athletes were repeat honourees after also having named Academic All-Canadians last year, the first time that CUFLA presented the awards. (2018/19 AAC story)

Hayden Nix was again one of the AACs from the Western Mustangs, who won their fourth straight Baggataway Cup last fall. Nix excels on the field and is even better in the classroom, where he achieved outstanding grades in second year medical school.

He won't be an AAC next year, however; he's planning to take a year off from med school to pursue a Masters in Bioethics at Oxford University.

The other repeat Academic All-Canadians are Trent's pair of Cole McWilliams and Aidan Jeffrey along with Brock LSM Macgregor Allen.
