Nipissing Coach Jason Rudge Coaching with Team Canada at USA Lacrosse Fall Classic

Jason Rudge, the head coach of CUFLA's Nipissing Lakers, is part of the coaching team for Canada at this weekend's USA Lacrosse Fall Classic in Sparks, Maryland.

Rudge was selected as an assistant, along with Chris McKay, to head coaches Matt Brown and Taylor Wray. 

The tournament features Canadian and US men's and women's teams plus this year's NCAA champions--Boston College for the women and Virginia for the men.

Canada's team features a star-studded young lineup headlined by players like Jeff Teat, Jonathan Donville, Ryan Lanchbury and Ryan Smith, all of whom were top-three picks in the last two National Lacrosse League entry drafts. 

All games will be streamed on the Lacrosse Sports Network. Rudge and the Canadian men's team play the US at 5:30 ET Friday afternoon and Virginia Saturday at Noon ET. 

Rudge is also the head coach for the Ontario U16 team that is taking part in the Brogden Cup at Sparks Saturday and Sunday.
