Mitch Ogilvie is the 2021 CUFLA MVP

CUFLA named Mitch Ogilvie the 2021 MVP, Scott Dominey the top graduating player, plus seven other players all stars for the most recent season.

Mitch Ogilvie of the Guelph Gryphons was named Canadian University Field Lacrosse's Most Valuable Player for the 2021 season while Nipissing Lakers star Scott Dominey was selected the top graduating player in CUFLA.

The duo are among seven players plus a coaching staff recognized as CUFLA all-stars in voting conducted by the league's 14 member teams.

Ogilvie helped to lead the Gryphons to the Baggataway Cup championship game, where they fell just short with an overtime loss to the Brock Badgers. The midfielder from Peterborough, Ontario was recognized for his outstanding two-way game. In addition to his offence, Ogilvie is a tenacious defensive middie and a player who leads by example on and off the field.

While completing undergrad and graduate degrees at Nipissing, Dominey was the league MVP in 2018 and has twice been a CUFLA East scoring champion. He has been named All Canadian four times, twice each at midfield and attack.
