It will be an especially busy Thanksgiving weekend in the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association as regular season action will continue and the McGill University Redmen will host the Ross-Victory Cup, Canada’s senior men’s championship.

The prestigious trophy will be contested by seven teams from across Canada at McGill’s Forbes Field and Molson Stadium, home of the Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes, all weekend long.

Joining the Redmen will be the Toronto Maple Leafs lacrosse club, the Abbostsford (B.C.) Attack, Ladner (B.C.), Wakefield, Barrie and Calgary.

All of the participating teams have CUFLA alumni playing for them, including Calgary’s Sheldon Locking and Ladner’s Jake Safarik, former McGill players, returning to their old stomping grounds.

CUFLA's regular season will continue this long weekend as well, with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues traveling to Ottawa to face the Carleton Ravens on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Any and all fans are welcome to come and watch the action. Below are links to all the pertinent information.
