McMaster Upsets Guelph, Bishop’s Top Seeded Team

Guelph’s perfect 10 - 0 record ends, McMaster, Brock, Bishop's, and Carleton move on to the Bank of America Baggataway Cup Final 4 Championship at St. Michael's College School in Toronto, Ontario.

October 31st, 2010 – Guelph’s perfect 10 - 0 record came to an end as McMaster upset CUFLA’s top ranked team in quarterfinal play by a score of 9 - 4. Defending champion Brock University seeks to keep CUFLA’s coveted trophy, the Baggataway Cup, on display as they beat Western in London, Ontario by a score of 10 - 8. Ottawa native and midfielder Jordan Weedmark lead Brock’s scorers with 2 goals and 2 assists. 

In the East, Cambridge Ontario’s Josh Crone lead Bishop’s over the University of Toronto with 9 points on the day, placing Crone on top of playoff scorers. Jr. A standout and 2009 scoring champion Corey Fowler lead Carleton over McGill by a score of 12-9 with 8 points in the contest.

Bishop’s, McMaster, Carleton, and Brock move on to the Bank of America Baggataway Cup final 4 at St. Michael’s College in Toronto, Ontario next weekend, November 6th & 7th
