Kevin MacRory's five goals led the McMaster University Marauders to an 11-10 triumph over the Brock University Badgers to win the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association's 2010 Baggataway Cup on Sunday afternoon.

MacRory was named the game's most valuable player for his efforts, while goaltender Joe Tallis was named tournament MVP for making several clutch saves against Brock's impressive offence.

Carter Williams and Dan Lapanensee both had a goal and two assists for McMaster. It was the Marauder's second-ever CUFLA title, having won their first league championship in 1987.

Kyle Kropman was selected as the Badgers' MVP, while midfielder Devin Sartor was a key cog for Brock, scoring and dishing out four assists.

The CUFLA final was held at St. Michael's College's Eugene Melnyk Field in midtown Toronto in front of a packed grandstand of raucous fans.

Head coach Ed Comeau kept his Marauders in control throughout the game. The Badgers were constantly trying to catch up to McMaster, as Mac led 7-3 at halftime and 9-8 at the end of the third quarter.

Comeau used his timeouts wisely, drawing up plays near the end of the second and fourth quarters to get key goals.
