CUFLA Playoff Seeding Tiebreaker Rules


CUFLA Tiebreaker Rules:

I.        The team that won greater number of points in games played during the regular schedule, between teams tied in points, shall be declared the winner of the higher position.
 

II.        If a tie still exists, the Goal Average Formula will be used to break the tie. Only the goals scored in the games between the teams tied, up to a 10-goal differential shall be used in the goal average computation.
 

III.        If a tie still exists, the Goal Average Formula will be used to break the tie. All goals scored in all games during the regular season schedule, up to a 10 goal differential, shall be used in the goal average computation.
 

IV.        If a tie still exists, the team with least number of goals against during the regular season schedule shall be declared the winner.
 

V.        If tie still exists, the team with the greater number of assists on goals during the entire schedule shall be declared the winner.
 

VI.        If a tie still exists, the winner of a coin toss by the League Commissioner will be declared the winner.
