Guelph Takes Trent 15-7

Led by All-Canadian Midfielder and Game MVP Jordan Critch, Guelph takes Trent 15-7.

 
Trent Excalibur opened the Baggataway Cup 2012 against Guelph Gryphons at the Justin Chui Stadium at Trent University on Friday night.
 
Excalibur were defeated 7 goals to Gryphons 15 and never looked to threaten throughout the game. Gryphons went in after the first period leading by 4 - 1 and never looked back and Excalibur were always playing catch up. Gryphons doubled there goals in going into half time as well as the Excalibur but the Gryphons led 8 - 2. By the end of the thrird period it was 11 - 4 and Gryphons continued to score and finish the game comfortable winners. Gryphons will now play against McGill Redmen on Saturday in the first semi final.
