Western Wins in OT

Although this game was not filled with goals it was full of action and kept everyone on the edge of their seats. The Badgers opened the scoring in the first half through #89 before the Mustangs replied with an equalizing goal by #24 Sam Neeb (Oakville) and the first period closed at 1-1. The Mustangs scored their second goal through #25 Dylan Ham (Toronto) which was the only goal of the second period. The Mustangs went in at half time leading 2-1. In the third period, the Badgers started their comeback with the first of two goals by #11 Greg Davidson (Toronto) to make it 2-2 and take the lead #89. Western pulled a goal back to tie the game in the final period through #21 Ryan McCror (Clarington). After four periods of twenty minutes and the lead changing hands, it was over time and two periods of 4 minutes. The first four minutes passed with no goals and in the second overtime, the Mustangs #21 Ryan McCrory (Clarington) gifted his team a ticket to the final.
