CUFLA Commissioner David Fenicky commented, “the league is very excited about the new playoff format as it gives players and fans additional opportunities to witness something really special. Although we are only three weeks into the season, this year’s games have produced many unexpected results and the 6-team divisional playoff format sets the table for some potential upsets. The quality of the games improves from week to week, so we really have no way of predicting how the playoff weekend will shake out. One thing is for certain: fans making the trek out to Oshawa in November should expect the unexpected, and expect it to be quite a show.”
