Nipissing controlled the game from the opening quarter, defeating Toronto 19–4 behind a dominant offensive performance from Zach Tarr. McGill wasted little time taking control, scoring three times in the opening 7:22 before Griffin Armstrong answered for Carleton. Western opened its CUFLA season with a 13–5 victory over Toronto under the lights at Varsity Stadium. Ottawa Powers Past Bishop’s for 14–6 Victory
Ottawa delivered a strong performance to defeat Bishop’s 14–6 in CUFLA East Division action. The Gee-Gees produced plenty of offence despite finding themselves in penalty trouble throughout the game.
Ottawa was assessed nine penalties totalling eight minutes, compared with three penalties and two-and-a-half minutes for Bishop’s. The Gee-Gees overcame that disadvantage to secure the eight-goal victory.

McGill Holds Off Late Trent Rally for 14-12 Victory
McGill built enough of a cushion through the first three quarters and held off a determined Trent comeback to earn a 14–12 victory. Zack Page and Jason Bonnema scored late in the third before John Miraglia opened the fourth with his third goal of the game, which was credited as the game winner.

The Marauders defeated Laurier 11–7 Friday night at Alumni Field, overcoming a back and forth contest with a four goal fourth quarter to secure the victory.

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. The Trent Excalibur wasted little time making an impression in the opening game of the CUFLA season.
Trent erupted for 17 goals Wednesday night at Justin Chiu Stadium, pulling away from Carleton for a 17–8 victory in the first game of the 2026 regular season.
