About the 2024 Baggataway Cup Logo:
The colours: on the outside are from the traditional medicine wheel. The medicine wheel is a powerful symbol in many Indigenous cultures, representing the interconnectedness of life, balance, and harmony between the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual realms.
Dream catcher: another connection to the Indigenous heritage of the game. A traditional symbol of protection and good dreams in this context strives to promote working together and striving for excellence, free from distractions or negativity, and focused on achieving shared goals.
Arrowhead: the arrowhead represents protection, strength, and courage
Arthur Schmon Tower: Named after the chair of the Brock University Founders’ Committee, the Schmon Tower was designed by architect company Gordon S. Adamson & Associates and built in 1968. The flagship building of Brock University, the Arthur Schmon Tower is visible from miles around.
